PETER A DEPASS

PRACTICE HEAD

Peter Alexander DePass is an Attorney-At-Law practicing in Kingston, Jamaica. He was admitted to the Jamaica Bar in 1991 and graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor of Laws degree (Hons) in 1988. He is also a graduate of the Norman Manley Law School (1990) and holds a Master of Laws degree in Corporate & Commercial Law from University College London, University of London (1991). He is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association.

Peter provides advice to his clients on a wide range of commercial, corporate finance and real estate matters. Peter’s expertise also includes providing comprehensive advice on intellectual property matters and in drafting, negotiating and leading on the preparation of commercial agreements. Peter combines his commercial contracts expertise with knowledge about related intellectual property, technology and competition law issues. His varied work includes manufacturing, distribution and licensing arrangements and technology transactions such as IT procurement, supply and development.

 

Peter is also the Registrar of the Diocese of Jamaica & the Cayman Islands and is Deputy Chairman of the Nature Preservation Foundation.
